Mean Girls - Mean Kids...

2Day FM Morning Crew were talking about the movie "Mean Girls" because Peter Hellier watched it and that inspired a lot of response from the general public in regards to mean kids/bullies when people were at school.

One of the callers was a girl named Julie from Liverpool. What makes Julie so interesting from my perspective was the story she told. In highschool she was always the one they called "fat", "Fatty-boomsticks"...she said that she was the girl that no one would want to go out with. So, to get her revenge, after high school she lost a lot of weight and is now one of those "hot" girls and when the boys from high school saw her and wanted to go out with her, she obviously said no to them!

She said she may have been fat, but she can always lose weight! They were ugly and always will be!
*ouch*

As i listened...she sounded familiar...its been 5 years since i last saw Julie. People from school have told me that she had lost a lot of weight and is now going out with a "hunky" guy. She went to the Mounties gym and perservered with the weightloss and now she has a great bod. Good on her!

It just made me think about the things i didnt notice in high school, and emphasised how much was going on but i was unaffected by it. Thankfully, im not emotionally scarred from any bad experience in high school...did u know that i never witnessed any fights at school?
