It was 1pm today...
I drove past a bus stop that didnt have seats or any covering.
There was an elderly man and an elderly woman, both asian.
If i had to predict their age, i would have to say that they were in their late 50's or early 60's.
The man was wearing a hat and leaning against his cane. The woman was crouching beside him, hiding under his shadow while he stood blocking the sun for her.
I was amazed and felt all warm and fuzzy.
Its not often that you catch a sight like that, where asians in their generation publicly display their affection for one another. Heck, most asians in the "older" generation (and i mean anything older than me) abstain from ever showing their affection for one another at home in front of the kids, let alone in public.
It has instilled a bit more faith in me, that love like their's can last through the ages.
I also love watching elderly couples holding hands while they walk along the street. Its like sooo cute!
I think that kind of love is sooo hard to find these days.
But one can hope.
