crazy/beautiful

I was anticipating a teeny bopper type of movie last nite...and so i was also expecting to go to bed early because i thought i would get bored by 30 minutes into the movie and so i would nod off on the couch.

Surprisingly, its not so much a "teeny bopper happy go lucky with a couple of mishaps" type of movie...it was strange. I was sitting there thinking that it was actually going to end on a bad note...no happy ending here, missy!

I was glued to the tv, and even though i was consciously thinking it was going to end in a not so typical happy ending, in my heart i was hoping it would.

I get annoyed when i read books and the ending leaves me unsatisfied. I use to hate watching movies where the ending was sort of stunted short. Making u wonder if they had used all the money so they couldn't afford a sufficient ending?

Since watching more artsy type of movies, im learning to accept endings that are not so "adequate" in my eyes, or as "fulfilling" as i want them to be. I have accepted that some endings are sad, and i have to live with it.

So, i was quite charmed to find that crazy/beautiful ended on a happy note, a little bitter but happy. And i felt really satisfied watching someone fall apart, and out of love, found the strength to admit that they were hurting everyone around them as much as they were hurting themself. She realised that she needed to pull herself together, face her fear and make peace with her father.

What i also liked in the movie was the photographs she (the character) was taking...i feel like taking up a photography course. I think the photographs and the montages of them, helped develop and end the movie really well.

I remember watching that movie at the movies...I loved the photo montages, they were a nice touch.

And I liked them music in the movie, especially the scene where 'this year's love' was played.
