Another Complex?

I have this intense urge to walk the other way if someone is trying to sell to me that Person A is an ultra FAB guy, cos he has *this*, *that*, & comes from a "wealthy background".

Now, for me...the moment you use "wealth" in a sentence about someone or as trait to win brownie points - i get skeptical.

The only time that i will be impressed by the mentioning of "wealth" is if the guy is under 30 and became a "guzzillionaire" in his own right because the guy thought up of an idea or physically invented something and then had the brains and balls to mass produce &/or mass market, or sell it off to a large corporation for a HUGE wad of money! NOW THAT is what i call impressive...not that he has so much money, but because he is innovative and smart!

I was reading my Cleo June Mag and there was an article on '69 things women dont know about men.'

One of the points was that "Although women pretend not to care about cars, men know that women are impressed by it!"

Not all girls care about the car a guy drives! I hate driving...cos i tend to drive often and since i have been driving 45 mins to work, and 45 mins back from work, 5 days a week...im absolutely appreciative to anyone who wants to give me a lift. So long as the car doesnt die in the middle of the road and then i gotta get out to push it to the side...im not gonna complain about your car! At the end of the ride, i will even graciously thank you...profusely for driving me home as i get out!

If you think using ur car as some sort of leverage to my heart, that isnt going to happen either. If a guy starts boasting about his car...what engine he has, whether its turbo charged, or what kind of mags he has, what kind of body kit, or any other fudgin details about his customisations...i would smile politely and then bolt to the nearest exit. It doesnt appeal to me, and i dont know who it really does appeal to, except some other rev head/rice boy/etc?

I need retail therapy!
