Cheeky Salad Flirt...

I have been eating lunch at this place for 3 working days in a row...
It all started with me meeting up with M for lunch at Macquarie Centre last Friday. I had a really yummy pumpkin soup that day, but i thought i should try a salad on Monday. And there must be something in the dressing because when i woke up today, i just felt like a salad again.

It may be also that its Day 15 of my detox, and im just fruit and vege crazy...but that honey and mustard dressing...makes me salivate.

The concept is that u pick ur salads, and they toss it for you with whatever dressing you want ($6 + $0.50 per extras like chicken, avocado, etc). Same thing goes for the pastas...u pick the pasta, ingredients and sauce...and they toss it for u. Cheeky Salads is owned by Harris Farms...well the owner of Harris Farms provided the funds for his son to open this store. The son runs and works at "Cheeky Salads".

Its funny, Mr Harris was there on Friday explaining to M and i the "concept" of cheeky Salads and who was the brains behind it...why it was called "Cheeky Salads" - apparently for cheeky girls like us! ahahaha

I went in today to fulfil my craving...and i gotta tell you, as a salad tossing person, ur in a prime position to pick up chicks (because they toss your salad while u wait to pay...they ask for your name to put on the white chinese take out boxes). As i got there after the lunch time rush, there wasnt much of a queue. I was paying before my salad was there to be paid for. So, my salad tossing friend didnt write my name on my box.

I chatted to the owner, the son, while i waited and he obviously recognised me from coming in 3 working days in a row...i explained that i had a craving for the salad this morning and that i thought they had spiked the dressing! He said he did lace it, with a very very little amount of cocaine! *giggle* Then he seriously asked which dressing, and i said the "Honey-mustard"...and he said that it was "the really good salad dressing"...hahahhaa

Then my salad came out and cos my name wasnt on the box, he took the marker and wrote "junkie" on it. I paid for my salad and he winked when he passed the box to me and i read what he wrote. *hehehe*

I'm such an easily smitten person...im not ga-ga over him...im just flattered, its nice when people notice you!
=)
