I can function with as little as much as 5 hours of sleep per night...but it wears you down.
I use to live on 2 hours of sleep during uni...it seemed there wasnt enough time in the day to do all that programming...which really means i was bad at programming to begin with.
The week before, my left eye was twitching non-stop for the whole week. On Saturday night, i slept for 11 hours and it was great. I woke up and my eyes were sooo bright and white. And the twitching it stopped.
I thought my eyes were red from staring at the computer screen day in and day out. I also thought it was the meds that i am on...dehydrating my skin as much as my eyes, too. Now, i know...its the lack of sleep.
The moment i started clocking only 5-6 hours again...my eyes went red.
I slept for 8 hours last night...and i woke up with bright eyes again...
I think its pretty clear...i should really dedicate 8 hours of sleep each night and make a habit of it.
