Gee whiz...my friend sent me an email with all these pick up lines, like the title of this post.

Some guys sure know how to make a girl feel extra special, don't they?

Although, it does put a smug smirk on my face.

Another thing that makes me put a smug smirk on the dial...is the fact that i secured really good seats for Varekai - Cirque Du Soleil. Which will be in Sydney between August 10 - 27, 2006. Presales have started and it seems all the good seats are fast selling out for the weekend shows. I managed to score really good seats cos it was for a show that was towards the end of the season.

It felt like Christmas came around again, with the things i found out today...i still need to secure something else before i can reveal what my other surprise is.

But the knowledge alone made me so happy! So giddy...i couldnt stop giggling like a school girl catching a smile from the guy she has a crush on!

Have i mentioned how "awake" i feel with the knowledge that Oprah Winfrey is a comfort eater? She can maintain her strict diet when she is happy with life, but the moment she gets upset, she eats stuff that she shouldn't = junk or complex carbs or sugar, what have you.

I feel uplifted with this fact, that Ms Oprah ("I am the most powerful, influential, & wealthiest woman on Earth") Winfrey is human like the rest of us - she struggles!!!

I think that just made me like her - a little bit more!

I met a friend for lunch last week. She brought up something "funny". I say funny, as it isnt really, its actually quite sad...but thats why i put it in "".

She said that she has noticed an alarming amount of female colleagues and friends who tolerate their bf's cheating on them or treating them horribly. Question is, are they tolerating it because they feel that they are older and they are scared of taking part in the war of the singles, known as the dating game? Or that they are older and just put up with it, in pursuit of getting married and having kids while there is still a chance, even if it is with an abusive &/or cheating scumbag???

The one thing my friend and i agreed on, is that no matter what, cheating is not tolerable - but that's us...

What compels these women to stay with their boyfriends...the boyfriends that treat them so badly?

I wonder if men feel the same way...men who are getting older, do they put up with girlfriends who are just really pretty but have no heart? Girlfriends who are gold diggers...girlfriends who cheat on them??? Do they feel the same way as these women, do they put up with it or do they end the relationship? How do they feel about being single again??? Are they worried that their opportunity of being a "cool dad" being stripped down to a dad who only remembers the word cool - cos it happened so late? (And therefore are readily trying to impregnate their young pretty-thing of a girlfriend, whenever they get the chance?) *LoL* <- That shouldn't be funny, but it is to me.

But back to the women who tolerate really bad behaving boyfriends...I just wished I could empower those women, to just stand up and leave.

When will you say 'enough'?

Enough with the cheating...
Enough with the abuse...
Enough with the torment...

I have had enough!

If it was as simple as getting all these women together and repeating those words after me, I would organise it. I'll even bring my mum as a guest speaker...she'll tell you to respect yourself and dont you dare take crap from any man!!!

If only it was that simple!
