Why???

Why do people, who are not Chinese or of an asian origin, enjoy appending an "a" to the end of my name?

If they were Chinese or of another asian ethnic background i would forgive them for adding an "a" or an "ah" to the end of my name, because they have a tendency to add an "a" or an "ah" to the end of any sentence.

For about 15 years, on my CBA statements, i was known as a Christina...even the computers were against me! I actually attempted to fix this name problem twice before...but gave up when they still had an "a" at the end of my name!

One day, i got fed up and stormed into a branch and got them to correct it in front of me, only to find that i had two profiles mirroring eachother...one as a Christine and another as a Christina.
