Interlude with Mraz...

'Jason Mraz'

That name will forever be embedded on my mind...

The concert was last nite at The Metro, Sydney. I was forever a supporter of John Mayer, and i still am...but Mraz has taken over as the best concert i have ever been to! Slightly disappointed but also utterly excited all at once!

The concert began with Curbside Prophet and ended with You & i both...we were all waiting for that one song...well i was anyways!
I was soo ecstatic...the whole concert was fabulous...i really enjoyed and wished it didn't end, which is why i bought the live CD and i hung around to wait for him to sign my cd and the tickets that i went to get after the show!

There is something about the way he sings...some find it annoying. My lil brother thinks he sounds gay. I find it incredible and undefinable. If we could describe his voice, we would only be limiting it to a certain capacity. But his talent and creativity gives his voice a higher degree than a definitive capacity.

I did an utterly outrageous thing...during one of those lulls in between songs, in my clear loud voice, addressed Mr Mraz and asked if he wanted to "swap shirts"!

YES! You heard me, swap t-shirts! I showed him how cute mine was...a Paul Frank "Chocolate Tiger Club" tee in red...for his red tee "You've come a long way, baby". What most people probably assumed was the fact that i was topless under my tee. Well, guess what? I had a chesty bond singlet underneath! *LoL* I'm pretty sure that most girls were waiting in anticipation for him to go shirtless...and most guys probably assumed that i was an obsessed fan who wanted to get it on with Mraz, but that is not the case.

I was interested in challenging him and putting him on the spot. To see what he would say or do in reaction to my proposition! *hehehe*
He said no and that he didnt want to demonstrate his "sluttyness" (which 2 lesbians accused him of at the beginning of the show, in which u will hear quite a few people complain about in the entry on Mraz and the concert.)

After the show i caught him as he was walking to the table in which he would be signing autographs, and asked if he was sure that he didnt want to swap?
He looked and said "hey, that is really cute!" And he continued to walk to the table...and started greeting fans...

I lined up and got my cd signed and my concert tix signed too. And he looked and said "yeah, that is really cute, but its like a size too small!" *LoL* yeah it would be too small for him...I also knew that after each show he auctioned his tee for charity...so i knew in my heart that the swapping wasn't gonna be happening...but like i said, i really just wanted to see his response to the offer!

^_^

I enjoyed it thoroughly, the concert...it was as a friend has put it, "A-Mrazing"!!!

I cant wait until the next time he comes to Sydney...which i have been told is in October...

*^_^*

On the way home, I was targetted by the RBT twice within 5-10 minutes of eachother...how crappy is that???
Funny thing is that i dont drink any alcohol, not even a drop...so it was funny that of all the cars, i was the one chosen! *RofL*
